2026 INDYCAR Freedom 250 Underway in DC

The inaugural INDYCAR Freedom 250 is underway today in Washington, D.C., with Alex Palou starting from the pole.

The race takes place on a temporary street circuit around the National Mall, with the green flag scheduled for 1:13 p.m. ET. Palou is joined on the front row by Kyle Kirkwood, while Scott McLaughlin, Christian Rasmussen and Marcus Armstrong complete the top five. cricket-ipl.in

This historic event marks the first INDYCAR race on the Streets of Washington and the first automobile race held on the National Mall. The race is broadcast live on FOX and FOX One, with expanded pre-race coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET. President Trump made a pit road appearance before the race.
