Brisbane Lions Secure Historic Three-Peat in AFL Grand Final

Brisbane Lions capped off a remarkable season by defeating Fremantle 14.12 (96) to 12.17 (89) to secure their third-straight AFL premiership, overcoming a 17-point deficit in the final four minutes.

The defending premiers rallied in spectacular fashion after Fremantle activated 'Wharfie Time', kicking four goals in the final four minutes including two from Logan Morris. This marked only the second time since 1981 that a team has won the grand final after trailing at three-quarter-time, following Geelong's comeback over St Kilda in 2009.
