Chelsea is in talks with goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez's camp after being offered the World Cup winner by Aston Villa.

Chelsea is considering making an offer for Martínez, who has expressed a desire to leave Aston Villa after the club signed his replacement, Zion Suzuki, for £30m. zeppelin.cool

The goalkeeper position has been problematic for Chelsea, with Robert Sánchez prone to mistakes despite being the current No 1. New manager Xabi Alonso selected Sánchez against Fulham, but his errors led to goals.
