Coventry are set to break their transfer record for the fourth time after agreeing a £23m fee with Danish side Nordsjaelland for Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi. The deal would be a record for the Danish top flight.
The 21-year-old, who impressed during Ghana's World Cup campaign and was named young player of the year in the Danish league last season, will travel to Coventry to complete his move. The Sky Blues have already spent almost £60m on players this window including Loum Tchaouna, Aurèle Amenda and Carl Rushworth. afnews.co.za
