Crane: Playoff Run Factors in Espada Decision

Crane noted there have been no recent discussions about a new deal for Espada and the team will evaluate his status after the season ends. 'All positives are positives,' Crane told The Associated Press when asked if Houston's AL West title would affect the decision.

The Astros became the first MLB team to make the postseason without a winning record by finishing 81-81. They'll host the Chicago White Sox in a best-of-three Wild Card Series starting Tuesday. This marks the Astros' ninth playoff appearance in 10 years, with World Series titles in 2017 and 2022. zeppelin.cool
