The Miami Dolphins have claimed cornerback Jai'Onte' McMillan off waivers after he was released by the Colts.

The Miami Dolphins have added cornerback Jai'Onte' McMillan to their active roster via waiver claim. McMillan was dropped by the Indianapolis Colts when they signed tight end JJ Galbreath on Friday. saltysenoritaaz.org

The Dolphins created roster space earlier in the day by releasing cornerback Nick McCloud. McMillan, an undrafted rookie out of Minnesota who signed with the Colts in June, played 17 defensive snaps and one special teams snap in Indianapolis' preseason opener. The waiver claim was announced during Miami's game against the Giants on Saturday. McMillan will begin practicing with his new team on Monday and could see action in the Dolphins' preseason finale.
