With both Allen and Haener now released, the Giants are likely to re-sign one of them to the practice squad. Haener was signed after the first preseason game and impressed with a 9-of-10 performance for 116 yards and a touchdown. Allen had shown promise as well, completing 26-of-28 passes for 224 yards with two interceptions.
