Is it worth the risk playing Gibbs-White? Fans have their say...
We asked for your views on whether it would be worth the risk to play Morgan Gibbs-White against Aston Villa in the Europa League second leg.
Here are some of your comments:
Phil: It looks a nasty cut. Hope he can play on Thursday, but his health must come first. He is key to Forest's success. I think whoever replaces him (if needs be) will do a fine job. chincha.pl
Maurice: Don't even think about playing Morgan Gibbs-White on Thursday! Let him recover first. The whole squad is motivated and will keep performing. Great to see everything coming together again for a fan who has been following the Reds since the early 1970's.
David: There's no reason to pressure Gibbs-White to play in Thursday's showdown at Villa Park. We have plenty of cover for him, like Taiwo Awoniyi or Omari Hutchinson.
Luke: He will 100% want to play, it might be a bigger risk telling him he can't. So long as his vision isn't impaired by swelling etc, then measure him up for a mask and get him out there. If we qualify, then you can wrap him in cotton wool until the final.
Simon: Got to be down to Gibbs-White himself to decide. Biggest game for us in 40 years and we're pretty well safe in the Premier League now, so if he feels he's up for it, play him.
Pat: If Gibbs-White says he's fit, let him play. It will be one of the biggest games of his career. One of the biggest in our recent history. One that can write a new chapter for us and one that explodes him to England glory.
Colton: Gibbs-White would be a better leader by making the right decision. The season ain't over yet, we could go down still. He has a huge part to play in our survival. Rest up Thursday, be there to be a potential super-sub. Then play for the rest of the season and hopefully a cup final if fate is on our side.
Mark: Yes, playing in a protective mask is pretty standard for football. He's a tough Red, and he won't want to miss this, he can be rested in Premier League games.

Sean McVay, Kevin Demoff attend Arsenal's big Champions League win
On Monday, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay joined team President Kevin Demoff in London to watch the Champions League semifinal showdown between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
Rams owner Stan Kroenke also owns Arsenal, who were victorious, winning the match 1-0. Arsenal, who tied with Madrid during their first leg, now advance to the final, where they will take on defending champion Paris Saint-Germain.
Sean McVay and Rams president Kevin Demoff are in London for the Arsenal - Atletico Madrid match going on at the moment. McVay has become good pals with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta over the years and they've served as sounding boards for each other since they met in 2019.

McVay and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta have a close relationship due to Kroenke's ownership, something McVay discussed last October.
“It's special because I think there's an understanding of a willingness to share," stated McVay on the relationships he's built with Kroenke's other organizations. "There are so many things that are similar and in alignment even if it might be different arenas or different sports, but leadership, trying to get everybody on the same page. What are the things that you want to commit to with your values and principles? I've gotten to have a relationship with Mikel Arteta that I really cherish and value, learned a lot from watching the way that he moves.
"Then when we've gotten a chance to visit with one another, had a chance to connect with the Nuggets, Avalanche people and it's really special. I think with Kevin's involvement and interactions and exposure to all parts of it, it's helpful to really be able to see what it looks like. I think you're seeing all their organizations that they oversee. It's not by coincidence that it starts at the top and why they've been successful and why they do things the right way.”
McVay also spoke about his relationship with Arteta, stating that they have both learned from each other, using those tools with their teams.
“I think what you feel from him, there's such a consistent alignment in terms of the things that we value, but you talk about building relationships, having the courage to go for it, being steady through the tough moments, being connected where you're in it with the group," McVay said last year. "One of the things that I love about him that we try to be able to do is he's so reflective on where he can continue to grow.
"He’s not afraid to ask questions that he wants real honest feedback from his guys of where he can improve for them or maybe what are the things that they really like that he wants to continue to do whether that be with his players, with his staff. But the way that he leads and the way that he models the way is a great example. I've really cherished watching him navigate the different things that you're responsible for navigating in leadership positions. Then the great pressure or whatever it is, it's a privilege and he embraces it and it's cool to watch him move and how he handles it all.”
