Josh Allen Makes Historic NFL Start

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen continues to rewrite NFL records through the first two weeks of the 2026 season. According to NBC Sports research, Allen is one of just three players in NFL history to accumulate nine or more total touchdowns without any turnovers in the first two games, joining Patrick Mahomes (2018) and Peyton Manning (2013) who both won MVP that same year.

If Allen throws for at least two touchdowns without turnovers against the Chargers on Sunday, he would join Mahomes as the only players with 11+ touchdowns and no turnovers through three games. The Bills quarterback has also had two straight games with four or more touchdowns and no interceptions, and two consecutive games with two rushing touchdowns - matching feats accomplished by NFL legends like Jim Brown and Drew Brees. esporist.org
