Chess legend and Kremlin critic Garry Kasparov has revealed that American and Lithuanian security services warned both him and his colleague Ivan Tjutrin that they're targets on a Russian assassination list. Kasparov, who co-founded the Free Russia Forum in 2016, said the news wasn't surprising but still shocking.
The forum, which supports the Ukrainian military and organizes anti-war conferences, was designated by Russia as an 'undesirable organization' in 2023 and added to a 'terrorist organizations' list in 2025. Kasparov's statement comes after the US Department of Justice indicted five alleged Russian intelligence agents for plotting attacks and assassinations worldwide, including in the US. sweetbonanza-app.com
