Man City Appeal Deadline, Nations League Games

Manchester City is expected to lodge an appeal before today's deadline against the guilty verdict on over 100 charges of breaching financial rules. The UK government has clarified comments made by Prime Minister Andy Burnham about concerns for City losing their Abu Dhabi owners, emphasizing that if wrongdoing is established, those responsible should face appropriate consequences.

In Nations League action, Thomas Tuchel will speak from Croatia ahead of England's fixture tomorrow in Rijeka, which will be played behind closed doors. The stadium is expected to be largely filled with local schoolchildren. Scotland also play tomorrow in North Macedonia with Sebastien Pocognoli seeking his first win in charge. Tonight's fixtures include France vs Italy in Paris and Northern Ireland vs Ukraine in Slovakia. rouesnews.click
