McVay Won't Use DPI Call as Excuse

Sean McVay refused to blame officials for a controversial defensive pass interference call that helped the Broncos defeat the Rams on Sunday.

McVay addressed the DPI call that nullified Josh Wallace's interception and set up the Broncos' game-winning touchdown. The Rams coach acknowledged the team benefited from a missed DPI in the 2018 NFC Championship Game against Sean Payton's Saints but declined to make excuses.

'It is what it is,' McVay said. 'We're not going to play the victim card.' The Rams were called for five penalties in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, tied for the most by any team since 2000. chincha.pl
