Texans place WR DJ Turner on IR

The Texans placed wide receiver DJ Turner on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, a corresponding move to Jadeveon Clowney's signing.

Turner, who signed with Houston on July 29 and practiced Monday, will end his season on IR or may reach an injury settlement and be released. The move coincides with Clowney's official signing and Tuesday practice with the team.

Turner, 29, spent the past four seasons with the Raiders, appearing in 32 games with 16 catches for 158 yards and a touchdown. He also contributed 416 special teams snaps and 391 offensive snaps in his career. sport-tr.bet
