Qualifying for the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man has tragically claimed the lives of two riders.

Swiss rider Mauro Poncini, 29, died in a collision during the first round of qualifying on Tuesday. The following day, British rider Sam Naughton, 37, was killed in an accident at Dorans Bend.

The Manx Grand Prix is held on a dangerous 60km mountain course and is considered one of the world's most perilous events. wlop.pl
