Zuccarello Scoreless in Kings Debut

Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · NRK

Mats Zuccarello had no points in his official debut for Los Angeles Kings, who lost 4-8 to Colorado Avalanche in the NHL season opener.

The 39-year-old Norwegian veteran, in his 17th NHL season, played nearly 18 minutes in the game, fourth most among Kings' forwards. Zuccarello joined the Kings after seven seasons with Minnesota Wild, having also played over 500 games for New York Rangers and briefly for Dallas Stars.

In a preseason victory over Anaheim Ducks earlier this week, Zuccarello had a strong performance with three points (one goal, two assists). The veteran forward will look to contribute more as the Kings continue their season. milkshakeslot.com
